Karibu Tanzania! On this evening you'll meet your new travel friends in a fun, beautiful way - getting henna tattoos and hearing the fanciful sounds of Taarab over a sunset rooftop dinner. You'll fold effortlessly into the culture with a warm intimate welcome like this.

Hear the story of Zanzibar's past at museums and exhibitions around town. See how it has shaped the present culture of the island. Wander through markets and imagine the life of the natives that walked there before you. Later, sample the local street food creations from the market by the sea.

It's the perfect day to experience the nature of Zanzibar. As you venture away from Stone Town you'll experience more of the calmness and beauty of the island. The activity of the day is snorkeling and dolphin watching - just enough adventure before we unwind at our beachfront villa.

January 20
The beaches here never cease to amaze... and they'll be yours to enjoy. And no need to worry about any movement because lunch will be served right where you're staying. Visit Nungwi beach in the afternoon for horseback riding and a sunset cruise on our last night together.

You may miss the energy and quirks of traveling through Stone Town... or the slow feel and in some parts, stillness of Zanzibar as a whole. It's a place that's hard to visit just once but the memories will always be enough. Karibu tena Zanzibar!
